Misconception

House At Dusk, 1935, Edward Hopper

A concrete ghost
Looming unearthly
Pale among the twilight

Chock full of secrets
Seeping through crevices
Once the darkness ensues

Loneliness
Loneliness and time
Is in control

Such beauty
Causes such madness
And Death

Dana

  4. Yes difficult to escape the loneliness and death suggested by this prompt. I like the idea of secrets seeping through crevices.
