  2. I think we have all been there at some point, afraid to speak for whatever the reason. I like the way you relate that to imprisonment, I have never looked at it that way.

  6. Rejection does cause one to clam up. In a strange way it seems that we reject ourselves before others have a chance to when we fear it. This is one that I can relate to very well, and often still struggle with.

  7. Yes, I do think that fears of rejection keep a lot of good ideas unexpressed or shared. Whether in poetry or in other venues. Well penned.
