Scream

A tangled mass of words
Hunger to scream
Through grimaced lips
And slice where the sun don't shine
No...
I refuse to let that occur
I will smile sweetly
As I tear shit to shreds
When no one is looking
Dana

ha...well now...go ahead and get it out...dont let it eat you up....smiles....
ReplyDeleteHaha! I get it out one way or another. Sometimes it's not possible to scream when you have kids.
DeletePoetry ...not always pretty, but always passionate...primal, real!
ReplyDeleteThat's for sure! Thanks for coming by!
DeleteBetter scream than to let you eat your insides.
ReplyDeleteScreaming isn't always possible when children are around, but I've been known to lock myself in a bathroom with a magazine and tear it to shreds(One I've already read of course).
DeleteYou are right, screaming is not always an option and in front of the children we need to hold back . Sorry xo
ReplyDeleteNo worries!
DeleteYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...... 'as i tear shit to shreds'- its gotta come out...one way or the other...and sometimes its best to do it under controlled conditions!! yeah- i love this little gem!
ReplyDeleteThank you! You have to do what you have to do sometimes and as I get older and people piss me off more... I have to find some way to get it out! Thanks for stopping by to read!
DeleteTearing things to shreds is the best! Throwing the shreds out the window to float to the ground is good too. :)
ReplyDeleteYep! I have a little fire pit so sometimes I will tear it up, then burn it in my fire pit releasing that anger. It calms me to watch the flames eat the anger away.
Deletesometimes it's not bad just to scream a bit to get rid of something...smiles...always depends though..
ReplyDeleteOne day it was just me and my toddler at home, I was soooo upset that him and I had a scream fest. He loved it! He thought we were playing a game! It's the little things... haha!
DeletePoetry is a great place for your emotions, Dana. Really like the last two lines.
