Soul of Night

Summer Night, 1913, by Albert Bloch

Atmospheric souls cushion the night
Conceived of earth and specter
Wandering between worlds of reality and theory
Respecting the universe beyond our sky
Caressing, loving the presence of others as they merge
Forming one entity
Touching hands to heart
As they converse within a wooden sanctuary
Instilling their thoughts, knowledge into our dreams
While they observe our slumbering bodies

Wandering between worlds
Soul of night

    1. Thanks Brian! They just felt mystical to me when I saw them. Then they took on a life of their own!

  7. Myterious and dreamy, and I've always wondered what if we could wander between the world...into a magical journey....

  8. The way you have written this feels so much more comforting and soothing than creepy or frightening. These words are beautiful, Dana! On a lighter note, these 'souls of the night' are way more ethereal and mystical than the tooth fairy! She is the only other comforting night visitor, I've encountered. Thanks so much for sharing. =D

Thank you for being that audience!
