Misconception

House At Dusk, 1935, Edward Hopper

A concrete ghost
Looming unearthly
Pale among the twilight

Chock full of secrets
Seeping through crevices
Once the darkness ensues

Loneliness
Loneliness and time
Is in control

Such beauty
Causes such madness
And Death

Dana

  3. Oh yes! Spooky. Funnily enough, I just got through watching the silly 'Clifton House Mystery', about a haunted English house. Since it was filmed in the late '70s I'd consider it a B-movie; and, from that angle, fun to watch. Cheers

  5. Yes difficult to escape the loneliness and death suggested by this prompt. I like the idea of secrets seeping through crevices.
